Relationships

  • TENNAex-boss / ex-lover
∹ Her feelings about Tenna are inevitably still her loving Tenna with all her heart. Unfortunately, her past reputation and actions leads to her having a very selfish take on how love is supposed to work, and she isn't fond of the idea of sharing. SHE NEVER WANTS TO SEE HIM WITH DOLLIE OR ANYONE OTHER THAN HER. EVER.

  • DOLLIEannoyance
∹ Not worth Tenna's time. Not worth anyone's time.

  • PINK...
∹ Somehow, she got scarier now. While Spamton isn't aware that Pink got involved with another timeline that had an aborted weird route, she is aware this is still the Pink that hurt her. Sometimes getting daringly snarky towards her, she tends to realize that's an awful idea moments later. She was saved from Pink once by another Addison that serves as the only other person than Tenna she's fond of on a more personal level.

  • LACEcute / savior
∹ Another Addison and one of the only few that Spamton likes thanks to them rescuing Spamton from Pink in an instance of her being captured and tormented. She's well aware of how Lace got hurt because of it, and regrets it horribly, sometimes blaming herself for Lace's injury.

  • Canaryfriend
∹ Surprisingly on neutral / friendly terms, Spamton found out that Canary was one of the few that was genuinely showing concern about Spamton vanishing. For some reason, the fact the other considered her at all made her
    feel special.

chapter 3

Spamton, upon becoming Dealmaker, didn't properly have the energy or willpower to change back to her previous form, but she was an item that Kris seemed to particularly wear all the time. This remained this way up until the moment that the dark world to the TV Studio. That was when things got... a little harder for her to just remain an 'item', because she was made aware that Tenna was still there. She was made aware of the state Tenna was in, too. However, sometime during the events of this chapter, Kris became slightly aware of the idea that Dealmaker in particular 'belonged here'.This was ultimately where the divergence from 'canon' began for this chapter, because this lead to them doing something as a dangerous joke. Sharing their soul with the glasses, that gave enough energy for them to take form into spamton, who actually was... shocked that she was able to exist again, but inevitably Tenna didn't recognize her and, well... freaked out.*In a panic due to the fact this scared Tenna, Kris retracted the soul and forced Dealmaker back to glasses, but for some reason 2% of the soul remained with Dealmaker. Kris figured this wouldn't be an issue so long as they kept the glasses close.A lot happened over the course of things, but one of the other divergences was the secret boss of the chapter- which ended up being Dollie, a face that spamton certainly remembered.Upon recieving Dollie's item, however, Spamton managed to use the semblence of awareness she had to discard herself from Kris's inventory, wanting NOTHING to do with Dollie and wanting to never see her.She didn't know what happened after that. The next time she woke up, she was in a different state.

* Note, this wasn't the same scene as the pipis scene.
It happened in the Green Room between boards.

POST CHAPTER 3

Now realizing that she was fully an aware entity, she had very little in common with her previous appearance with her glasses. It seems that she lost that part of herself when she was moved back to castle town, just under the cliff's long drop. For the most part, everything was fine. Her lack of relation to her identity as spamton in appearance made things easier for her to get by, but she had to use a new name. One that didn't really bode well with her."Dealmaker". Her item name. But it was fine. She was able to deal with it for awhile, at least until there were a few that actually realized who she was.Because everyone was recruited amidst all chapters, some of her mannerisms were quickly picked up on by people that knew her naturally. Amongst these were Swatch... and the rest of the Addisons that had actually moved to Castle Town.Though the most unfortunate person to notice her was, well... Pink of course. Of course, things started off in a sort of neutral light, primarily with pink hinting at the fact that she had similar quirks to someone she used to know.Someone that she hated.
Dealmaker, who was at the time trying to adapt to the fact she wasn't being regarded by most as her true self, was caught off guard by this, entirely, but Pink laughed it off like it wasn't a thing that she should worry about, offering her tea of sorts.
... Before basically drugging her and tormenting her for fun, admitting that she'd always recognize her as Spamton and that she never could change. That she was an awful, disgusting person that deserved to be tortured.Of course, this had an effect on Dealmaker once she managed to get away. Not only was she a permanent target of pink from then on, but she also wanted to actually make an effort to give herself a better personality for her name.Trying hard to be a better person, to do better for everyone, until she came across the room in the castle that Tenna stayed in. Inevitably, Tenna was never damaged or harmed due to Dollie taking the hit for Tenna, something that never really got seen by Spamton.

It was meeting Tenna again that was the driving force of her rejecting her 'new name'. Insisting she was spamton, of course she desperately tried to reconnect with him, but he was very uneasy and didn't really trust her even if he was able to pick up on the fact she was Spamton in her current appearance.Of course, She wouldn't give up, attempting to treat Tenna way more properly than she did in her bigshot era to try and get that connection back, but...... despite potentially becoming friends again at most, there were quite a few things wrong about this whole thing. For one, he had started to recall Dollie more clearly, mostly due to being saved by her directly countering the damage Spamton did.And on top of that, he seemed close with a few others, specifically Battat. These were all things that didn't bode well for Spamton, but ... she tried to ignore it just to keep trying to get close with Tenna.

CYBER CITY, part 2

After the incident, her appearance was drastically changed. She was smaller, and more akin to an odd ball-jointed puppet / doll than she had to her original, birdlike form. The feathered tail she had was replaced with a long electrical plug tail, and she wore glassed with a very specific color. Due to the corrosion of her programming as a whole, she became fixated on the idea of making it big again at all costs.Even if she had to be absolutely evil and scammy to everyone she came across. Attempting over and over to get people to help her to find something that she heard about last time she snuck into the mansion, most of the time it never worked out or went through properly. At least not until Kris came along. They would proceed to listen to everything that she said, going through with the deal that lead to her becoming Neo. However, the fight ended with her being SPARED, giving Kris the Dealmaker Item.

Note: most of this plays out basically the same as
traditional chapter 2, i just wanted to write about it.

TV STUDIO

During a meeting that she happened to be alerted of by her benefactor, she would meet up with Tenna and Dollie when the laptop was taken home to the Dreemurr residence. Initially, Spamton was not told there was anyone else involved with Tenna. So seeing Dollie made her surprised. A bit agitated, even- there wasn't supposed to be anyone but her and the one that was going to help her become bigger. There was no value in Dollie's presence, she thought. So, as sneakily as she could, she would place a narrative to Tenna that he may not be able to resist.A promise to make it big, but Dollie could not come with. Tenna agreed, though he promised to come back with her once he made it big. Little did he know that he would not get that chance.

Upon joining the studio with Tenna, she would quickly notice that Tenna seemed to easily find things that reminded him of Dollie, often bringing it up at times that agitated Spamton to an extreme level. That was when her new 'true colors' started to show, for there was an instance where, while Tenna was asleep, she used her knowledge of machines and repair to hack into her 'boss' that she was the co-host for and actually corrupt / erase most of the memories that he had of dollie. Even if there was a nagging feeling that something important was forgotten, there was no chance of remembering without pain.Spamton made sure of it. Spamton didn't want anything of Dollie to be remembered at all...For the most part, everything 'worked out'. Spamton replaced Tenna's fond memories with herself to get the other to like her no matter what, and the show was successful, right? Things were working out, right?Well, yes, but... unfortunately, Spamton's benefactor had other plans. After giving her everything that she could have ever wanted, it wasn't long until said benefactor grew bored of watching her at her best, and...... With a set of two phone calls ...Ruined it all.

The downfall was abrupt. Startling, and started with her getting a phonecall in her room at the studio. Of course, she said to Tenna that she just had to take the call, but when she went to take it, she never came back. Leaving fast for the mansion in Cyber City, she found out that she was being evicted for some reason. While trying to get them to stop, she would get another phone call. The final one, of her so called benefactor cutting things off. This came as a surprise, of course, but more importantly? They were trying to escort her out of the mansion. It ... didn't really go as planned, though, she would try to avoid this outcome to the best of her abilities, fearing the worst when it came to it.Being terrified of losing everything. Of losing herself.
... Really, she should have been looking where she was going.
Inevitably, she would end up in slipping, and falling into a pool of acid, only managing to be pulled out after eventually going silent after god-knows how long screaming in pain.Quite frankly? She was presumed dead, thrown out in some back alley to be someone else's problem. However, she wasn't really dead. Her data had become horribly corrupted, but she CERTAINLY was not dead.

Cyber City, part 1

Spamton was never actually an addison. Instead, she was a subspecies that revolved around mailboxes, delivering mail from the other Addisons to who they needed to go to. She considered herself good at her job, but she always wanted to be something more. Something important to look up to, a
BIG SHOT, even.
Of course this dream was far fetched. It was drilled into her that it was by the other Addisons except for Cerulean and Canary. One particularly bad instance of this was Pink, actually. Always seeing herself as above the rest of the Addisons (most of them just put up with it and tried not to fuel Pink's ego too much), Pink found it incredibly fun to constantly talk badly about Spamton behind her back.Of course it escalated from that. Of course she actually kidnapped Spamton multiple times just to torment her, to scare her and make her feel inadequate. There were even times where Pink nearly killed her.At the worst of it, she found herself pleading for anything to save her, to give her a chance to do anything to get some sort of respect for what she did in life- barely scraping by.... and the phone rang.

She was gifted with success before actually becoming what one could call her bigshot era thanks to the help of a mysterious benefactor. Working with retail on cars in Cyber City, she slowly became more and more successful, to the point that Queen noticed her and let her even stay in the Mansion. It was everything she ever dreamed for, but things got to her head fast. Given she was at the worst of the worst when given a taste of success, she became greedy. Selfish even.Abandoning her past friends, and even attempting to have the upper hand with Pink (and succeeding with that for awhile unsurprisingly, actually preventing Pink from doing anything to her), she felt like she was getting everything she could have ever wanted. But then there was a call about a potential opportunity. Working with a TV studio.
